Our Story
At Inasmuch, we believe that every person—no matter their past, their pain, or how long they’ve lived on the streets—deserves to be seen, heard, and loved.
It all began with a simple breakfast.
In 2009, a small group of people in Fayetteville, NC, showed up before dawn to serve hot meals to their homeless neighbors. No questions, no strings—just coffee, eggs, and dignity. What started as a few faithful volunteers quickly grew into a movement. One where compassion came first, and the table was always big enough for one more.
We listened. We learned names. We remembered birthdays.
And over time, we realized breakfast was just the beginning.
People needed showers, laundry, and a place to rest. They needed help getting IDs, finding jobs, and getting off the streets for good. So we stepped into the gap. Not with all the answers, but with open arms and the belief that healing happens in community.
Today, Inasmuch is a full-service campus offering holistic care—housing, case management, workforce training, and spiritual support—to those who need it most. But our heartbeat remains the same: relationships first.
Because we’ve learned something powerful over the years: homelessness isn’t just about lacking a home—it’s about losing hope. And hope returns when someone looks you in the eye and says, You matter. You belong. We’re in this with you.
That’s the heart of Inasmuch. And now we're On THE GO!
